CATU conducts extensive awareness-raising activities to help workers understand and exercise their labour rights. Through training sessions, workplace education programs, community meetings, social media outreach, and distribution of educational materials, CATU provides information on labour law, freedom of association, occupational safety and health, social security, gender equality, maternity protection, and workplace harassment. These activities are designed to empower workers with practical knowledge that enables them to identify rights violations and seek appropriate remedies. CATU places particular emphasis on reaching women workers, young workers, and vulnerable groups who often face greater barriers to accessing information and protection. By increasing workers’ awareness of their rights and responsibilities, CATU contributes to a more informed, confident, and empowered workforce.
