CATU undertakes campaigning and advocacy initiatives to address systemic labour rights challenges and promote policy reforms that benefit workers. Working at local, national, and international levels, CATU engages with government institutions, employers, global brands, civil society organizations, and international stakeholders to advocate for respect for workers’ rights. Key campaign themes include freedom of association, living wages, decent work, occupational safety and health, gender equality, social protection, and business and human rights. CATU documents labour rights violations, conducts research, raises public awareness, and participates in policy dialogue to promote stronger labour protections and better enforcement of labour laws. Through evidence-based advocacy and collective action, CATU seeks to create sustainable improvements in working conditions and ensure that workers’ voices are heard in decision-making processes that affect their lives.
