One of CATU’s missions is to empower working people by helping workers organise themselves into trade unions, to give them more power when negotiating over their working conditions. At the same time, organised workers are better able to raise their voices and advocate to improve their daily lives. CATU is currently focused on organising workers in the textile, garment, footwear, travel goods and bag industries in Cambodia.
